The popular video game Grand Theft Auto IV uses Ruslana's voice as the host of a fictitious radio station Vladivostok FM. Her song "Wild Dances" is one of the songs played in the game. She used old Slavic rhythms in her album EY-fori-YA (2012). She also combined the musical works of Russian composers like Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and Rachmaninov.

Ruslana is a singer-songwriter, producer, music conductor, pianist and World Music Award nomination, as well as an MTV Europe Music Award nomination. She is known for winning the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with Wild Dances. All the media, speaking about Ruslana Stepanovna Lyzhychko, "Duky dance" as a composition, positioned it as a very coup in the stage and musical sense.

Ruslana is married to Alexander Ksenofontov (December 28, 1995). Together since 1993 they have been working at Luxen Bourg Studio, producing radio and film trailers. From the age of four she studied at an experimental music school and sang in a group. Ruslana graduated from the Music Conservatory as a pianist and conductor. Ruslana's stellar career began with a victory in the international song festival "Slavianski Bazaar" in Vitebsk, Belarus, in 1996.

She won the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with Wild Dances, earning points from 34 of the 35 countries participating in the competition. The winning song, Wild Dances, was folk music, ethnic performance and costumes. The style is a combination of ethnic sounds of the mountain people of the Hutsuls with modern elements of rock, pop and dance.

Ruslana actively supported democratic processes in Ukraine in the winter of 2004/2005 and became a cult figure in the Orange Revolution. From spring 2006 to summer 2007 she was a member of the Ukrainian parliament.

Ruslana's new project Wild Energy combines the art of music and video production, literature and social commitment. The Wild Energy album was released in the spring of 2008. It includes collaborations with R&B stars T-Pain and Missy Elliot. First single "Dream Moon". T-Pain also came out in the spring of 2008.

As of 2009, although she was invited as a special guest star, she was nevertheless awarded two special trophies at the 6th Asian Song Festival. The first of them was a golden statue of the Best Artist award of the Asia-Song 2009 festival, the main festival award that each participant received, and the second special award for his contribution to cultural exchange between Ukraine and Asia in music.

The singer Ruslana has her last album - "Dika Energia" (Wild Energy), released to support Ukrainian science fiction writers Sergiy and Marina Dyachenko, went off with a bang in musical parties.
